Eligibility and Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the Auxiliary Nursing program at Mpilo Royal College, you must meet the following requirements:- You must be at least 18 years old and have a mature attitude towards nursing as a career.
- You must have a minimum of four passes at O-level, with a grade C in English language and a grade D in the other three subjects.
- You must have a valid Zimbabwean national ID or a valid passport.
Application Process
First, you need to obtain the application form from the college's administration office or download it from their website.
2.Fill in the form carefully and attach the required documents, including your ID, birth certificate, and O-level certificate.
3.Pay the application fee of ZWL $200 and submit the form to the college's admissions office.
4.Wait for the interview and aptitude test, and if successful, you will be offered a place in the program.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
Mpilo Royal College offers various scholarships and financial aid to students who are unable to pay the full fees. These include:- The National Manpower Development Trust (NMDC) scholarship for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- The Zimbabwe Nurses Council (ZNC) scholarship for students who excel in their studies.
- Financial aid for students who are unable to pay the full fees.
To be eligible for these scholarships and financial aid, you must meet the specific requirements and apply through the relevant authorities.
Examination and Certification
To become a qualified auxiliary nurse, you must pass the Zimbabwe Nurses Council (ZNC) examination after completing the program. The examination consists of a written and practical component, and you must score at least 60% to pass.- After passing the examination, you will be registered with the Zimbabwe Nurses Council.
- You will receive a certificate of registration, which is valid for life.
- With this certificate, you can work as a qualified auxiliary nurse in various healthcare institutions.
