Eligibility and Enrollment
To be eligible for the FSI-DLI-PC program, you must be a US citizen and have been accepted into the Peace Corps. Once accepted, you will receive an email invitation to enroll in the FSI-DLI-PC program, which typically begins 6-12 months before your in-country training.
To enroll, simply follow the link provided in the email and create an account on the FSI-DLI-PC website. You will need to provide some basic information, such as your name, email address, and Peace Corps assignment information.
Once you have created your account, you will have access to the course materials and can begin taking the language course at your own pace.
Course Structure and Content
The FSI-DLI-PC program is a self-paced, online language course that consists of 3 main components:
- Language Instruction
- Readings and Assignments
- Practice and Feedback
Language Instruction: The course includes video and audio lessons, as well as interactive exercises and quizzes to help you learn the language.
Readings and Assignments: You will be provided with readings and assignments that supplement the language instruction and help you develop your reading and writing skills.
Practice and Feedback: You will have opportunities to practice your language skills with native speakers and receive feedback on your progress.
